EVENT MANAGEMENT
Ken has managed numerous events throughout his career, ranging from small receptions to black-tie galas for more than 1,400 guests. He has partnered with producer Michael Childers as Event Director on all five productions of “One Night Only”, a cabaret benefit featuring the “best of Broadway and Hollywood performers” at the 1,100 seat McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, CA. Among the stars who have participated in the sold out productions are Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno, Michele Lee, Sally Kellerman, Bruce Vilanch, Loretta Devine, Lorenzo Lamas, Susan Anton, Kaye Ballard, Michael Nouri, Davis Gaines and dozens more. “One Night Only” has raised more than one million dollars for Palm Springs area charities. Ken has also managed a variety of awards dinners, walks and other events. In 2005, he created and led an all-volunteer event that raised $5,000 for relief efforts following the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami. Ken produced the "Candlelight Vigil" at the 2002 U.S. Conference on AIDS featuring Rod McKuen. |
